Private Sector Development (PSD) Programme Leadership
The Private Sector Development (PSD) Programme is coordinated by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED), through the Secretariat for PSD/DPI Programmes. The Programme operates under a multi-tier governance structure that provides strategic leadership, policy guidance and technical coordination to ensure effective implementation of Programme interventions.
- Leadership Committee
The Leadership Committee is the highest decision-making organ of the Programme and is responsible for providing strategic policy direction and oversight. The Committee is chaired by the Hon. Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
- Programme Working Group (PWG)
The Programme Working Group oversees the coordination and implementation of Programme priorities, reviews Programme performance, and provides guidance on emerging policy and implementation issues. The Working Group is chaired by the Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Treasury, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
- Technical Working Groups (TWGs)
Technical Working Groups provide technical guidance on Programme implementation, facilitate collaboration among participating institutions, and support monitoring and reporting on Programme interventions. The TWGs comprise technical officers from participating Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Civil Society Organizations and Development Partners, and are chaired on a rotational basis by senior technical officers.
